I also got this back from Axis when asking about the 2016 A20 hard tank ballast specs

Wonder if they're taking into account the batteries being on port side as well then counter balancing that with the average driver weight? (Or at least a portion of the imbalance)

I just ordered an A20. Is there any specific reason you ordered the 2nd tracking fin? My dealer said it wasn't necessary on the A20 as it tends to track straight, even the older hull. He said the new hull is even better.

I've always felt smaller, lighter boats need a little extra help. I definitely didn't want to "WISH" I would've done it. It could always be added later but it will be very expensive. If all your going to do is surf you may not need it but if your boarding it will come in handy.

My friend had an A20 for 8 months. He put about 325hrs on it and they were advanced wakeboarders. They only had one fin and I drove their boat often and never had to correct for steering when someone was edging. My A22 had one fin as well and never had an issue. My A24 has two though when I ordered it.

Yeah, Axis tracks straighter than any other boat I have driven even with an advanced wakeboarder cutting out hard. My A22 only has one fin and I do not regret it.

Damn AJ! So jealous of those hours in that short time. Wish I could get out that much. I only have one fin on my T22 and no issues in 60hours I put on it last year.
