I also think it looks like a Tige. Hope it doesn't perform like Tige mine was the biggest POS ever.

Needs more freeboard if it hopes to compete with the G imo.

Why? Freeboard doesn't make the wake. It looks like it has plenty of freeboard. It looks massive to me.

I dont know about your boat but when i sack mine out for surfing the rub rail gets pretty close to the waterline. More freeboard equals more ballast before you sink and a bigger wave. Maybe its bigger than it looks to my eye. Im biased because i dont like where the industry is going with these massive and overly expensive tubs.

You do realize that there is a point of diminishing returns on ballast. Your wave does not continue to get bigger with more and more weight. Even with surfgates you can over ballast a boat. This can be done on traditionally listed boats as well as far as adding too much ballast. Believe me, I'm a fan of lots of ballast for surfing with my current gated A24 and my 3 other non-gated boats that I had to list. That new Malibu is massive in freeboard, the top-deck is probably close to 6 inches or more taller on the trailer than my A24.
