I know this has been discussed slightly, but other than one or two people doing it I was curious as to what everybody thought. Now that the season is over what are your thoughts? I just put in an order for a 2016 T-23 and ordered it without flooring and was planning on doing the full boat in gator step. The order has not been placed and I can still switch to decadence flooring and was looking for others opinions between the two.

Are you sure gator step has a template for your boat?

What's the cost of getting factory seadeck vs gator step?

If I ever order a boat I'll get decadence and do my own gator step in place of deck trac. I would not like permanent flooring. I am always pulling my tatami flooring out for cleaning.

You cannot get the factory Sea-Dek on Axis Boats, Gator Step does have a template for the Axis t-22 and t-23, I am not sure on the other models.

Hopefully somebody on the forum has some experience they can share after using one or the other for a year. I am in South Dakota and there are very few wakeboard boats, the dealer only gets a few boats a year and does not have anything on hand to look at to compare either decadence or gator step/sea-dek.

Malibu forgot to add the deck-trac on my boat so I may end up going with gatorstep where the deck-trac usually goes.

I had the deck-trac on my 2010 and it started peeling quite bad along with trapping excess wax and generally not looking very good.

What say you guys who've had the gator step for a season or two now?

I am doing the same thing, I opted out of the malibu deck-trac to do the gator-step, was wondering about what I should do as far as the flooring as well.

I have the deck-trac on my 2014 A24. It is also beginning to peal on the corners. Whats the consensus of adhesive to use to snug it back down? Also, I use simple green on it when it gets wax or generally unsightly. Makes it look brand new. But may be contributing to the pealing...

I used crazy glue on mine when it started to peel, hasn't come back up since then.

x2 ^ Mine was pealing so I used super glue to hold it down. It worked well. My issue is the deck track is smoothing-out, like grip tape on a skate board, and it has some cut marks and my boat gel is showing through in some areas, just from normal wear and tear. It held up fairly well for 5 seasons of hard use.

With that said, I just put an order in with Sea-dek to replace all my deck-track. I picked the storm gray at 6mm, embossed finish with a black outline, so it will match my swim step and transom step exactly. I will post pictures of it after I am done.
