I have a 2014 A22 Vandall. I just got a $1770 bill for winterization and storage for the winter. Storage is $750 which is way high. That means I'm charged $1k for winterization. Wtf?
Can anyone tell me what they were charged at a dealership for winterization? I live in Pittsburgh and my dealer is in Maryland an hour and a half away.

Who is your dealer? That's 4 years of winterization at my dealer with oil change for $1000.

I almost crapped my pants when I got it. I called and asked if it's correct. She said it's their normal cost.

Engine oil change 62.94
Transmission v drive 209.97
Winterization 515.74
There was some miscellaneous charges. Labor totals 626.40. Their rate was $120 per hour so over 5 hours.

$515 for just the winterization is double the average price but you got a bottom wash (whatever that means), tranny & v-drive service (still about double price), and oil change which is normal price. My dealer is around $200-ish for winterization but I don't have a heater, oil change $70-ish so $250 is a total winterization for me INCLUDING LABOR.

Forgot to mention but it sounds like your dealer is making a killing on charging 5hrs labor for less than 3hrs work.

$350 for winterization and oil change at my dealer. My dealer puts service prices on their website. Check it out so you can compare apples to apples. Mninboard.com look in service section.
