So...I am getting the bug to get a new boat. I am looking at the 2016 A24 and T23. I primarily wakeboard, the surf wave is not a big issue for me. Has anyone rode both wakes loaded heavy and if so how do they compare? I have looked on this forum and others and only find surfing wave comparisons.

The wakeboard wake on an A24 is going to be hard to beat. No experience with the T23 yet, but I've been behind a '15 A24 and it was more than enough wake for me. We really didn't even have that much weight in it. The surf wave was legit too but you said you weren't too worried about that.

The main thing to consider is when they are going to upgrade the gel and interior schemes on the A24. I assume next year but who knows.. I went with the A series ('15 A22) because we mainly wakeboard, prefer the pickle-fork styling, and the walk through bow is nice too. Both boats have tons of room and storage so it just boils down to your preference on styling and potential changes for next year.

I have a 16 T23 and the wave is big. The surf wave is amazing with 1100's and the wakeboard wake is great also but I would say A24 if you main sport is wakeboarding. We are 95% surf and the T23 is a beast for surfing.

I really think you are splitting hairs with the decision. I personally would go with the A24 cause I like the pickle fork. Both surf great and wakeboard great.

That is why I bought the a24.. while the cabin size in the t23 is awesome the bow space cannot be beat in the a24.

We always go out with friends and usually have 6+ kids.. the bow is a great spot for them to get out of the way :) On this day we had 8 kids and 8 adults and we still had plenty of room to move around.

That being said I like the lines of the T23 better but functionality won this time...

I had an A22 and liked the Bow when my kids were smaller. We don't use the bow much and I am just trying to justify the price difference between the T23 and A24. If there isn't a big difference in the wakeboarding wake i will go with a T23.

If the price is cheaper, go with the 23. There has been a post or two on here where the people have measured the two up and there is no difference.

I wish I can get a pull behind a T23 because I would love to see wake. I can only tell you that the A24 wake is incredible. It is a G killer for sure, not that the wake is better than the G, but the price on the Axis is so much better and the wakes are equally amazing. Rode the A24 with stock plus pnp (900 sumo's in the rear, and the sumo 750 under the bow seats). No wedge. We had another 200-300 lbs of lead in the cabin. That wake is amazing, big, firm, long transition, and very clean. I would be impressed if the T-23 wake is the same... IF it is, then T-23 all day because of price and the surf wave is supposed to be better.

Yeah, That's why i was hoping someone had rode behind both equally weighted. I really like the look of the 23 but not enough to sacrifice the wake.
