I ran across this post while looking at craigslist. I still can't wrap my mind around why someone would buy a '15 without surfgate. The seating color scheme is unique also.

Prototype/test boat that the dealer somehow acquired ?

I know sometimes the will have odd color combos test boats.

I know it is technically an option.. I wonder if someone screwed up at the dealership when ordering it???

It speaks about surfgate in the description but obviously it isn't there.

Why would they order one without it? Crazy imho...

If the guy did a custom order he could have not asked for the option. but for re-sale if I were a dealer I would talked him into adding it. That is a hard sell on a 2015 without surfgate.

But at least I might have found a candidate for the wakesurf shaper.. ;)

They probably just wanted to order the Ronix Wake Shaper with Velcro option

That's crazy....as is the green interior on the blue boat.

I know it'll drive the base price up but honestly I think the wedge/surfgate should be standard options just like the tower is and simply offer a customer to 'delete' those options thereby saving money if they chose to do it.

I need to delete that scheme from my memory. Someone better have a good explanation for that.. Not having surfgate is really strange especially considering it has Sound Pack 3. I'd be really shocked to see a T series w/o surfgate.
