I just purchased a used 2011 A20 that does NOT have plug n' play. I'm looking to add the bow ballast bag and fill/drain pumps myself, however I am unsure on exactly what I need to do with the drain line (like loop up over the drain line) and especially how/where to mound the drain pump. Has anyone here ever installed the pumps themselves?

Also, does anyone have a few pictures of what the factory PNP ballast pumps look like under the cutout near the drain plug by the drivers seat?

I've been doing some research for a while, however I can use any tips that I get.

Thanks in advance! :D

Factory fill is obviously drilled through the bottom of the boat. Factory drain is loose as factory drain pumps from the tanks would be physically attached at the lowest point. For the arrow you have the drain in the far back, fill on the top back (both back being close to the driver) and the vent farther towards the bow.

I don't know about the rest of you but my vent performs poorly. I normally pop it off, bleed of the air and continue filling.

My vent seldom works either, usually have to step on the bag to push the air pocket out

I suggest you call up Spence at wakemakers.com and see what he recommends. I think you can get a system that performs better than plug n play if you talk to him. I would think three Johnson reversible pumps, some hoses, and other assortments. I highly recommend you talk to Spence though. He knows his stuff.

Alright, I have my winter project just about ready. I ordered all my parts through Wakemakers when they had their black friday sale going. I will be taking a ton of photos to help those who don't already have the PnP installed for the front.
From factory, does anyone know if the drain thru-hull fitting is located on the driver side near the center tank drain? or on the port side?
