ya that would be nice if they would just contact the owners and send them a new gauge because its 2.5 hours one way to the dealer for me and i've seen under my dash, the gauges are all quick plug in pieces

I'm sure they will accomodate... just talked to my dealer and they said no problem on just shipping the new tach directly to me for install-

Have they already issued the recall or do I need to call the dealer and tell them about the problem first?

followed the work around for the tach/cruise issue Saturday. Worked perfectly... just keep it outta depth mode, b4 turning off and all works as it should! Now all we need are some replacement tachs!

No 'recall' per say, but a known issue on most of the boats. I would definately call your dealer, then go from there. It's best if they are aware you have this issue.

Installed the new tach over the weekend. Works as advertised, and no longer have trouble with cruise not working.

My dealer and I talked about it when I had the boat in for its 20 hour service. They didn't have them yet, so said they'd ship it to me as soon as they got it. It arrived last week, and it took all of 5 minutes to install it on Saturday morning before we went out.

Hey guys and gals. I work for a Texas Axis boat dealer and have in stock replacement tachs for the boats we have sold. You should contact the parts and service department at your selling dealer to find out if they have parts for you!!!
