My wake seems best with lots of extra bow weight. I've already got 650 under the seats (which bulges out the hole), but the surf wave is best with at least a couple of adults up there (or as many kids as I can convince to ride there. But it's hard to convince people to stay up there all day wedged together in the sun with all these super comfy, shady seats in the back of the boat. So I started wondering if it was possible to put another bow bag up there, on top of the seats and if possible, connect it to the one under the seats so I can still fill both with just a flip of the switch. What do you think?

And what bag would fit best on the seats. I'm thinking around 600 lbs would do the trick. Anyone done this, considered it, or have any idea how it might be done?

Sure people run bags in the bow all the time. I'm sure you could link up the bags bit I think you would be better off just using a portable pump to fill and empty the bag.

This is why I bought an a24.. I can cram 8 kids up there lol. I also have a 900lb ronix bow bag with a 3700 gph pump.. it fills pretty fast :) (i run this on top of the pnp under the seat)

I put a 750 on the floor in between the bow and captain's seat. When I had it filled with the bow ballast, my wave didn't have a lot of push. As soon as I let about half of the water out of the bow bag, the wave was killer...so there is a point of diminishing returns on adding ballast.

That's why I run an addition 950 floor bag in the rear when I running the extra front bag.. but I agree if not properly placed the weight doesn't help. I only run the bags when I have a small group.
