I think the draft on an A22 is maybe 27". My water depth at the end of my dock is 3'. That doesn't leave much room for people on the boat coming in with some rolling waves. Could bottom out… What's a safe water depth for that boat? I could put more dock sections in and get to where I need to be...

It depends on variables such as is your lake rock on bottom or mud? Do you come into the dock slow? I cant imagine you getting the swim platform under water unless the ballast was full. If ballast is full, you will have to add 6" to that draft number. 6" is the max unless you have an insane amount of people, lead, and ballast.

Personally, you should be fine with 3'. I am sure I had mine in less with nobody in the boat and no weight. Just be careful and idle the boat in every time.


Also, do you have a lift?
