2011, I think walter is 2010... same same. My 750's on top of my tanks would get pinched off in the front by the carpeted panel cover, then bulge up in the rear. I believe I could only get 650 out of them because I put a sumo 600 (tested to fill to 660 or so when full) on one side, with my fly high 750 on the other. The boat was even on both sides and the wake was the same as it was with both 750's in it. With the floor gone, I know your fly highs will fill all the way to capacity (which i THINK is about 720-730 as posted on a wakeworld thread sometime last season). So really, you are probably going to loose 100 lbs on each side if you pull your 200 lbs tank, so unless you don't mind a 200 lbs loss, I would wait til you buy bigger ballast bags before you pull your tanks.

I wonder if my 1100 bags will fill enough to 100% offset the loss of the hard tanks. I thought the tanks were 300lbs each. Its definitely advertised 900 total across the 3 hard tanks.

500 center, 200 in each rear tank. If you're running 900s or 1100s, then I bet the extra space is making up for it.

I'm thinking that when I do this project I might add a second fill and second drain pump to the system to speed up the fill and drain times. Then use the LINK valve as the vent.

I measured the size of the tank that I had pulled and worked out that it could hold about 175 lbs.

Johnny, what prop are you running these days? Still have the 2315? Any issuses there?

Yes, I am still running the 2315 95% of the time. I put the OJ Cinco on when I go to powell or havasu because it is a lot quitter and gives me a few more mph's. I can still get my new ballast configuration up with the cinco but I run the 2315 because it is so much better out of the hole.

I am riding tomorrow, going to throw that sumo floor sack in to try it, first time since I pulled the tanks. Going to see how the 2315 handles it. I am using about 400 lbs of lead-wake in the bow, 600 total. I have 200 in the very tip under the bow light, 100 behind the sub, 100 opposite of that behind the batteries, 100 right behind the driver seat, and 100 opposite of that under the observer seat. So all 600 lbs of lead are forward of the halfway point of the boat, but I am only counting 400 of it as "bow" weight. I did notice that with the little bit of extra rear weight I now have, the wake steepened noticeably. I am thinking that now with the floor sack, it will be even steeper... probably the steepest my wake has ever been.

sorry, no pictures, but I rode my new set up with the sumo 800 floor sack, 2 adults, 1 child and 1 rider. The wake is even better than it was... but just slightly. It has been a couple months since I rode my boat with the floor sack so it is more difficult to compare, but the wake was just a tad bigger, not steeper, just taller. It was super fun. It was a late set just before sunset and we did not have a good camera, next time I go out I will try to get good pictures (even though I hate taking pictures of the wake because it always looks so small for some reason).

I feel the same way when sending a snap to girls.

Anyone done this to an a24 yet?

Here is mine after hooking up the original tank vent to the bag, and I got the quick connect fitting to hook up the drain pump to a bag fitting, screwing the pump directly in the bag had a small leak due to there not being an o-ring seal on the pipe thread fittings, boat stays dry now!
