Still in the process of deciding on a boat, been trying to weed through threads on all the different forums and figure out whats right for me. Still torn between axis and moomba, but in the meantime I am working on trying to figure out which interior colors I want to go with. What have you guys found with grays vs whites and other colors. I am thinking the grays will probably get hotter in the sun but I feel like white will start to discolor sooner. Does the white get dirty or will it continue to look new if it is wiped down after every day on the water? Also have seen pictures of earlier axis boats where the white vinyl gets a red/pink discoloration when not in the sun... But after a few hours it goes aways... Then comes right back after its been out of the sun, has this issue been resolved? How about grays? Assuming they will look better longer. Will black accents get hot? Or do I not need to worry about it?

Would just like to hear what you guys have done with interior colors and what you would do differently next time.

Thanks,
Royce

Everything gets hot in the sun, The darker the grey the hotter it gets, I have Cement as my base and it only gets a little hotter than white, I have black accents and they burn you pretty good. I was on a 2016 with Flint as the base and it got hotter faster than the lighter colors but after 20 minutes in direct sun pretty much everything is scorching hot. If you wipe down the seats and keep them covered you should not have any problems with the white discoloring, I haven't after 2yrs and 170hrs.

Agree with mcmiller, go with the colours you like and maintain it, you'll be fine.

Get the colors you like. Some colors get hotter than others but I'd always go with the colors you like

Like everyone is saying, just get what you want. I have white and it still burns my feet if the boat is just baking in the sun...

Walter, do you hit your vinyl with a soft brush or anything when you are using the vinyl cleaner? Mine is clean from obvious marks but still slowly picking up a darker tint in high traffic areas like the rear seat. And I use vinyl sauce about every other time also

I usually just use a microfiber, but if it starts getting dirty I rub it with warm water and the same car wash soap I use on the outside and a white terry cloth towel and it cleans right up.

Thanks for the input guys. Have another question that I will ask here rather than starting a new thread, anyone know if the carpet on the T22/T23 that is between the seat and the floor is removeable? Whats under it and hows it attached? Hoping that its maybe just glued and could be torn off and stripped of the remaining adhesive.
