I'm very happy with the way it turned out. I'll see how it does on the lake on Sunday.

What does the top of the swimstep look like? I am thinking I will need to add a ladder like this also. I had been wondering about the advantages of bolting through the swimstep or welding a stainless plate to the mounting brackets and bolting to that (keeping the entire installation under the step and invisible when in water. After your installation, what do you think?

Here is a photo of the transom. I wish I would have used flat headed machine bolts. I thought the pad would have had more depth to absorb the bolt. Oh well, I know the ladder isn't going anywhere and I doesn't look that bad.

Looks good. I've thought about installing one but then I just make everyone figure it out.

Folks... I would pay to have this done professionally... you dropped 5 digits on your boat, this is chump change.

just my opinion....

I had a full day of surfing yesterday and the ladder didn't interfere with the wake at all. I'm very happy with the finished product!
