I hope youre not referring to seeing Seadek on the bow of the boat where the other non-skid is...that would be horrible.

Why would that be horrible?

I just think that the Seadek is much thicker than the OEM non-skid.

Yeah it is quite a bit thicker, it may look odd (not sure). My buddies have it on the rails of their boats and it works well and doesn't look out of place - actually looks nice.

If there is a thinner product that is similar, I would be interested. I just cant justify $600 for "deck trak" (what appears to be Axis grip tape).

There also seems to be two variations on this option. I see some 2010 and older with it just on the front and behind the tower. Newer boats seem to also have it on the sides and front step and all the way back to the windshield.

I have some curling too, if anyone has a suggestion on what adhesive. I planned to get some 3M marine adhesive.

My 2011 A22 has it on the bow areas but not on the sides up to the windshield. It has the pieces on sides near the tower mount

I do want the Seadek winter camo for my platform though. Maybe I'll see if my 2012 platform can be shipped to me with already.

Did you order a 2012 platform? Can I ask how much? I didnt know they were generally available yet

I wonder what % improvement just glassing the underside of my 2010 one would get me, compared to the 2012 swim deck.

$1400 is what it will cost ya. From what I understand filling in the bottom of the platform will help alot.

3M makes it. I'm pretty sure it's called 3M safety walk. I've got a few extra pieces I didn't use.

http://www.amazon.com/3M-Safety-Walk-Sl ... 90&sr=1-48

I ordered and installed myself after I got the boat. Glad I did, as its a little hazardous with people standing on bow loading/unloading. Helps to prevent scratches, etc too.

It would be pretty easy to get the templates from from someone and cut them out on a roll, you just wouldn't have the 'axis' logos in them.
