you need a red rocket or a walker project bazooka IMO... No idea where you are located but if in the NW you are welcome to try out my Red Rocket or Quest (The Quest is borderline for me so it ill be for you as well I would think)

Yes the red rockets would have been the one for you. Sold the last one this past week. The Red Rocket I have had guys up to 350lbs and they surf the red rocket with zero problems.

I am about your size... here is me on my Red Rocket. Love the board, rumor is Inland will have an advanced "big guy" board in Fall so I will be buying that for sure! https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=250&v=0j8H_nQPOH4

Your riding way further back than I can right now. If I slide back more than 5-7 feet I'm lost in the wave. I think I may need a little more bow weight since we normally have a small crew.

I've also been talking with Phase 5 and they are going to have a dedicated big guy line for 2016.

what board are you riding now? That was with 5-6 people on the boat (all small under 170 and no one in the bow) and all the ballast full. I can actually ride back another 4-5 feet with more weight. I like my phase 5 board but it simply is to slow for me unless I am on the platform and that is not fun (I should say I am tooo fat for it and that's not the boards fault). I have ridden 5-6 "big guy" boards and keep going back to my red rocket. I would find a red rocket to ride as the speed it can produce with someone our weight is impressive (especially with the big fins). I can even ride with my 40lb son on it and go way back :)

If Phase 5 comes out with something I would be very interested if it is more of a skim style board but at this point I cant imagine a better riding board that my red rocket. Wish you where closer so I could let you ride it.. you would buy one the same day :)

Here is a shot with my son but I am not that far back in this picture..
