I like them as they do well for my weight but I want something less stable.. I might order a project walker board..? The red rocket is really easy to ride but takes some effort to move it around. I just picked up the quest so not enough time on it for a good review.

Also I find on my boat that more weight will help a ton. I have a 1100 lb bag for the walkway and a 950 for the bow when we don't have a bunch of people. Makes a huge difference in push and ability to ride a lot longer wireless.

Damn...that has got to be some serious push and length on that wave with those extra bags in the bow and center. Any problems with cutting throttle and taking water over the bow? I would imagine you gotta be super attentive to other wakes/waves and your own tsunami's when you turn around. Lol

So according to the scale @ the Dr's office last week, I'm 278 & 6'1.

I have 3 big boy boards...
1) 2015 Ronix Longboard 5'4 (thx Bakes Marine!)
--absolutely love this board!!! Single fin, surf style, lots of rocker, easy to carve and pump to catch up to the wave if needed

2) Phase 5 Danielo Diamond 58" (thx Cal Marine Sports for the recommendation!)
--wow...is all I can say. Crazy fun, super loose, first try on a 360 I made the complete spin but slid back out of the wave. Been told by many that it's the best big guy skim style board.

3)Chaos/ShredStixx Ringer XL surf (thx Cal Marine Sports)
--have yet to try it out. Absolutely beautiful board and I'm afraid to scratch it. I will try it out this weekend and report back.

I would highly recommend 2of2 so far. I will let you know about the Chaos!

P.S. I have only been riding since we bought our boat this June. I've wake surfed about 6-7 times over the last 7 years. Ocean surfed when I was growing up, boat spent more time on a boogie board than a surfboard. Just to give a reference to my lack of experience in wakesurfing.

Brad,

I will be over that way the week of the 10th thru 12th. I don't know where you boat, but I'll bring my Danielo Diamond (or any of my other boards) for you to try during an evening. See what you think of how loose it is. Or if you are coming this way anytime soon, I'll take you out and let you ride any of them. PM me if interested.

I wish there were more board demos. I'd like to try some inland surf boards and a triple X board sometime.

Just got our daughter a Scamp this week so hoping to get her up for her first time tomorrow!!! And I realized I need more racks, LOL.

All photos are cell pictures taken by my wife while she was driving as well, hope to get the go pro in action tomorrow.

As far as setup I've got the 900's as full as they will go (need to add a vent line to them to fill more), the 650 bow as full as it will go, only person on the boat is my ~130lb wife driving, and I stuff a 750lb fatsac under the observers seat dash area and filled it probably 1/2 to 2/3's full. Wedge is down and speed about 10.6 I believe.

Having tons of fun learning and any tips/comments appreciated.

Congrats on the boat! And a bigger congrats on surfing ropeless!!! It's a definite feat for us big guys.

I have an identical setup on my T23 for ballast and I find that having more people I. The boat on the surf side (goofy for me) helps a ton. I also surf between 11.4-12.2 depending on board and how many extra people we have. I still need to fine tune my wave on both sides, but so far I'm stoked at what this boat will produce.

Buying parts to do the vents for rear bags this week. Hate burping them as I'm sure you do as well.

No problem at all...
