I am running fly high 1100 sacs and while I only had the fitting pop off once my main issue was the drain lines kinking. I would pull one of your bags up and inspect it to see how the lines looks.

If you have a '14 then you definitely need larger than 600s for the rear. I suggest the Fly High 1100s or the Sumo 900s. I run the sumo 900s full, wedge down, stock full, arrow sack full, and 400lbs in the bow with 4 ppl in the boat. The bow weight is very important for making the regular side wave look great. I also suggest adding extra people on the surf side just to help clean it up.

I am running ronix 800s. Flyhighs will have the same problem as all the others. Maybe the 600s don't but anything bigger probably will. As1430 you need more weight

He is talking about the fittings popping and not the dividers. If you upgrade bags, you will need to reinforce the dividers. Sumo bags have been the only bag that pops fittings. The rest are fine. I personally would go all fly high just to avoid any pontential head aches of bad bags....even though the issue has been fixed for over a year now.

I was talking about the fittings, not the dividers. My ronix bags were putting so much pressure on the bottom drain fitting that they were popping out. I moved my lines to allow the bags to fill close to full and keep the back drain fitting from kinking. My dealer is having problems with the fly high bags kinking the drain and pulling the fitting out.

Thanks for the feedback. Had the 2014 out this weekend and snapped some photos of the rear bags pretty much full. Do yalls hoses look pinched like mine? I can only imagine that 900 or 1100 kinking would be far worse. The pump on the port side is mounted perpendicular to the hull whereas the pump on the starboard side is mounted parallel to the hull (see pics)- is this normal?

Take the straps off that hose and allow it to just sit loosely in the locker. Kink problem solved. Those handles are not the pumps. They are a shut off valve for your plug and play.

Thanks Idahosurf! Any chance you know where the ballast pumps are located on a '14 A22? My bags came with the boat and I have yet to take them out and explore...

They are under the rear seat on my a24...
