I fill my rear bags plus the hard tanks. I fill the non-surf side bag to 80% (surfing the port side). I fill the center tank, but don't fill my bow bag. Run the wedge with surf-gate. Just personal preference. Everyone on here will have a variation with their set-up.

The OP is asking about his '12. Surf gate setups won't help him.

I also have 2012 A22...don't fill the center tank. The center tank has always given me a headache. I use 900 Vsac in back with stock 250 filled and about 700 upfront. Sometimes I will play with the other hard tank depending on if my fuels full and how many people I have in boat but again, I never fill the center. Also, I never use the wedge especially on goofy side..
when you say headache are you talking with wake or other issues?

Headache may not be the best word. More like frustrating...the center tank is my biggest variable. Sometimes when its filled its good, a lot of times its not. Sometimes when its half filled its good other times its not. Its never consistent. Not using the center tank gives me the most consistent clean wave. Speed is usually between 10.8 and 11. If I do utilize the center tank, I find that I have to increase the speed which doesn't always give me the height i want. Just personal preference.

I am struggling with my 2013 A22 surf setup also. It seems like sometimes the setup that I used the week before will not work and sometimes it will. I usually run all factory tanks full. Surfside 750 full, non surf side about 1/2 to 1/4 full and front full as I can get it. I was usually 10.6 last year on my speed but this year it is too washed out at that speed. I think I might need to speed up some.

Weighting the non-surf side might be creating the wash. A hard list with extra weight on surf side (bag or passengers) and a little extra bow weight was the key for us. Also make sure speed is calibrated and there isn't a bunch of air trapped in that 750.

I have a 13 A22. Leave the non surf side empty and fill everything else with the wedge down. I also have a 750 sac on the seat on whichever side we are surfing but we did just fine before I got it.

So are most of you surfing with the wedge up or down? This weekend I will definitely try leaving the non-surf side completely empty.

I'm setup like northgacable! When I put the wedge down it seems to make a mess of the wake, most the time we leave it up. 2013 a22
