I just installed a CIPA 180 with the clamp on my windshield last night and I'm not sure if it's because of our windshield frame design or what but it doesn't give me the warm fuzzies on staying secure.
I don't think I want a tower mounted one as I feel like its too high.
What are you guys doing for ones mounted on the windshield?
Links?
Pics?
Thanks

Go checkout the forum's Instagram page (@axiswakeboardboats). You'll see a lot of mirrors, tower and windshield mounted.

I had the windshield mounted mirror on my A20. No matter how tight I secured it, hit a good size wake and it would move. Not to mention if a passenger bumped it it would move. So I opted for the tower mounted mirror. It isn't really that high, and it looks great. Plus, it doesn't move, no matter what size wake I hit. And it is out of the way of all the passengers in the boat. For me it was a good investment.

I love my tower mounted mirror. I do hit my head on it from time to time getting up from the seat. Bottle opener is a plus too

I went with the windshield mounted mirror after the tower arm broke on us one day. It just fell right in the drivers lap and we needed a mirror sooner than when axis could get us the replacement part so we went with the windshield mount. Also we back the boat in the garage and lower the tower every time and moving the mirror so it didn't stick straight up in the air was a pain.
