Since I bought the boat I have had a terrible feed back, whine, from the tower speakers. I have checked the power and grounds they seem good and clean. Tried messing with the RCA cables. One thing that I have figured out is that it only has feed back if the fuel pump is running! Any ideas? Thanks

Factory cables? Wouldn't a premium shielded set of cables help interference such as this?

It is stock as far as I know. Do you happen to know the length so I could grab some new ones in the morning. Trying to get everything ready for the 4th. Thanks AJ

Try turning the gain down and see if it goes away...

Add a new ground wire running from the negative wires on the amps over to the ground bar under the dash. You might be getting a ground loop from a ground differential on the dash ground bus and the amp ground bus. The wire will take care of this.

I have the same problem on my 2015 a22, the dealer tried all of those things, none of them work, to mask the problem you can put a filter between the amp and deck, fixes the problem however basically just covering it up

Somebody get up with DaveAnalog on wakeworld or bu crew. He's the guru on all things audio.

And more than likely it's an easy fix. Boats much different than cars and a little harder to diagnos the noise

I have a 2011 A22 that does the same thing. I have literally tried everything that has been mentioned. Better RCAs, Noise Filters, New Grounds, New Powers and mine still makes the noise. The only thing I haven't tried yet is running new speaker wire from the amps to the speakers, which is my next project. I have just been sick of messing with it, but the noise drives me crazy.
