Both of my center windshield latches seem to be missing the screws to tighten them down. Right now they are so loose that the latching mechanism doesn't work at all. Could someone please take out one of their screws and take some measurements for me? Can't walk to Home Depot with the boat under my arm.... :-)
Thanks

What year? Mine did the same thing. I actually left one of the latches off. I have the screw already out. Mine is a '14.

It's a '14 A22. I bought it used and it already came without the screws. I would appriciate if you could measure the screw for me.

Those latches are a joke. Same with the ones in the rear lockers that hold the side panels in that separate the lockers from the engine area.

I've got hairline cracks in BOTH upper windshield posts, the windshield won't close all the way, and now after last weeks camping trip, discovered that the screw that goes into the windshield from the support bracket off the dash closest to the opening of the windshield is missing! Not very impressive for a 2014 with 50 hours on it!

Dealer has ordered an entirely new windshield, thankful I'm still under full warranty for a few more months.

Same here. They are going to fix mine at the end of the season.

So dealer just called they where able to make the window functional but they think they are going to have to replace the whole window and dash to make it look right as they had to move the struts up about 3/4" exposing the original holes. Shitty part is I had the windows tinted in it already :( wonder if Axis will pick up that bill?

I am a little surprised this issue has came up. I am glad they are making it right.

I was surprised axis shipped it this way and they the dealer did not resolve it before putting on the lot. But that being said the dealer has been great so I can't complain.

Make sure your dealer can work around your schedule. No reason for you to miss out on a weekend cause of a factory screw up. See if they will give you a loaner if possible.
