I just picked up my new boat last week and I'm working on break in hours. I know some people do 750's and some do 1100's. I decided to go with the 1100's in the rear and the bow sack, but have heard people talk about bracing the engine walls. I can't find a thread on it anywhere, anyone have a link or instructions?

We mainly surf, so I figured I would need the bigger bags. Will the surf gate, two 1100's, front bow sac, factory hard tanks, and 5-7 people make a good surf wake or do I need something for the bow walkway as well?

I saw those, but I thought I read somewhere that people were bracing the bottoms of the covers where they slide into the guides on bottom. Maybe I am just imagining it?

I am going to more or less copy that kit (I run the 1100 lb sacks in my a24) I am also going to get rid of the buttery locks and put in bolts so that it cannot slide up. I think that will be more than enough to hold it.

Yes, please do. Have you been running your 1100's without any bracing for now? No problems?

Here's some food for thought. A couple years ago a test was done on Sumo, Fly High, and Ronix sacks and their actual weights when filled tight to capacity. The Fly High 1100 filled to right at 1000lbs and the Sumo 900 just barely under 1000lbs. Now, given the sack dimensions of the 1100 and the compartment of the Axis it will not fill tightly and/or expand fully. The A24 and A22 I seen with 1100's filled to what I would call 90% just because there was quite a bit of looseness to the 1100 sack at the point where it wouldn't fill anymore and water was overflowing through the thru-hull port. When I got my Sumo 900's I thought the same overflow would happen towards capacity of the sack when filling. However, to my surprise the 900 filled to capacity and was totally swollen prior to water overflowing. Haven't had an engine wall fail but "yes" there is a very slight bend to it. In the end, you still can't go wrong with the 1100 as the rear sacks.

I bought the divider kit and 900's. Planning on installing all 3 bags and the rear divider reinforcement kits tonight. Better safe than sorry in my opinion and it's cheap peace of mind.

I just put 900's my T22.. Tight fit.. no engine supports so the walls do flex, i will probably add the supports.

Solved my T22 draining issues with these lol
