Just wanted to see what everyone else is working on over the Winter months?

Just completed my under the dash sub install last week. Was a lot easier than I thought it'd be. It made a huge difference in the low end sound getting it out from under the dry storage area.

The pics I tried posting are too big. I'll try to get em up soon. I'm also installing a Fresh Air Exhaust this week. I put one on my family's Moomba and it was great at cutting down the exhaust from the rear of the boat when surfing. Also quiets the engine quite a bit. Made a huge difference on the Moomba.

He FAE guy is here in Austin. Does he already have a setup for the axis? If not he can probably come in and measure up one of the axis boats in our lot.

He doesn't have a FAE kit for Axis just yet. This will be the first. I've got mine 90% installed now. We've been emailing back in forth since late November getting all the measurements correct. It's basically a modified Malibu Power Wedge set up. He said he'll offer a custom kit once we get the measurements exact. It's a great addition to any wakeboat, especially for surfing. I use to get horrible headaches after surfing behind my family's moomba all day. I installed the FAE three years ago and it's been awesome having it. It quiets the engine noise a lot too.

Nothing to see, but installed Bluetooth music gateway (made by blackberry) and hooked it up to the AUX input. Easily tucked it and all the wires behind the dash. I think its discontinued, found a couple at a BB store in the airport on closeout. Probably still paid too much at $35/ea, but now the boat and the rover have wireless music from my phone. Works and sounds great! Range is about 15' from the boat, 5' from the car. Wish I have gotten a third for the house...I listen to slacker radio all the time!

That's pretty sweet. Glad to see it clear the wedge. How much does it quiet the engine noise when riding behind?

I'm testing it out tomorrow and will let ya know. I installed one on a family members Moomba a few years back and it made a huge difference in noise reduction. I was shocked how much it did. I'm hoping for the same now. It also greatly cut down the exhaust levels around the swim platform while surfing or idling too.
