Any good tips on getting excess wax off the tower? The dealer flung wax everywhere when they were doing the final buffing and Im having a hard time getting it off the tower. Tried a mild cleaner with a tooth brush & that really didnt do much. Was thinking about using Mothers back to black or a similar dressing but when I've used that on car door handles the wax usually shows back up a few weeks later.

I had the exact same issue on our boat, dealer got wax happy? I ended up using acetone and a soft wire brush to remove the excess wax. It did not seem to harm the powdercoating/paint on the tower. B4 I went gung-ho, I tested a small area and it seemed to work. This was the only way I could get the crap off!

Same here...what a mess. I'm gonna try a green scrub sponge when boat gets back from dealer
