I posted this up on Malibu crew and wanted to see how you Axis member feel.

What do you think about Wake Shaper setup?

Wake Shaper just came out with their V3.0 platform edition wireless control surf enhancement attachment.

Have not confirmed if it will work on Malibu's but have heard is will on some.

Youtube link does not work... Do we know if this will fix any of the Axis models? Website does not state which boats it works with.

Went to their website and sent them an email asking if it would fit my A20. They replied within a couple of hours and said they have not specifically tried it on my model, but it should fit since it is a universal design. I need a bit more yes it will than it should before I invest in it.

From what I have found out is this product (v1,2,3) has come on the market very fast on only tested an a limited number of boats, mostly mastercrafts. Even with that they don't fit all of their models or any boat with a curved transom. I'm surprised they haven't reached out and tried it on a ton of other brands.

It sounds to me like one of you guys on here needs to volunteer your Axis to be the test dummy. Work out a lower price for it in exchange for video and photos.

I'm working on that now as we have a lot of Axis and Malibu boats in my area. Just hard to get a hold of them.

Just my opinion and not knocking the product in any way, since it does seem like a good product. However, before you post about the product wanting to get our interest up I would think you would have attempted to reach out on here and offer up to find someone in the area for testing and possible discount.

I am not going to do the research for you to see if it might or might not fit my boat. There is a large market and interest to be had. Just make the most of it.

Very true Garner, but this product has went from V1-V3 in less then a year and they are still developing and working on patents. I in now way have any ties to this company and just seeing how others feel about it. This is not only about if, what, and how this product will perform/fit but if it breaks a patent that Malibu has with Surfgate.

From my research they are doing most of the testing on Mastercrafts and because it is still a new product that is even limited.

I personal like the idea of surfgate but love my boat and no payment, thus this product would suit my needs for having surfgate.

Any idea on price? Sent to my buddy with a xstar and he is interested.
