Can anyone advise on what size the cooler is supposed to be in the 2015 A22? I have tried all the igloo marine coolers available at Walmart (25, 48, 52) and none of them fit. Im hoping it is the Igloo 36 but wanted to verify before I buy one online.

Marine igloo 36qt available at Walmart

So, has anyone found a better option that has access from the top? Not sure if it's like this on the other Axis models, but you have to pull the cooler out before the lid can open on the A22.

Hey Jayman - we found these at costco. I want to say we paid $25. it fits in the 15 a22 cooler spot.

Yes, it's the same one that came with my boat.

Can you snap a pic of how your factory cooler does not open without it coming out?

Still waiting for the new boat to get delivered or I would, and I didn't order one from the factory due to the design and price. Figure I can always buy one later. I noticed it when I was climbing around my dealer's A22. I remember reading a couple of other complaints about it a few months back.

Found an online pic of it. It'll open without coming out it looks like. The lid might not hinge all the way up past verticle to stay open on its own. That's not a big deal IMO. Youll spend more time unzipping and zipping a soft cooler than flipping up the lid of the factory one. The 36qt Igloo is the biggest capacity I've found that will fit and the seat fits on top. There's two versions of the Igloo 36qt. Axis is using a recently discontinued model and the new model is the same dimensions and available at Walmart and a couple other big box sport goods stores. The new version has a more refined look to it but nonetheless it's the same interior and exterior dimensions give or take a 1/4" here and there. I've already looked at the new one.
