So first off i want to apologize for not having more pictures or videos, but I will get more when I get home from Gaston. So first off, if you don't have gate or your own poorgate you need to get one ASAP! I'm a regular rider and I have joeys gate. I've been at the lake since last sunnday and I've been tring to get my wave dialed in. I finally thought I have it, it was fun, but had this secondary lip that would prevent the wave from ramping properly. The wave was still fun and had great push. Then my buddy says "what happens if we drop the wedge?" What happens your ask? Well THE WAVE HAPPENS!!! Cleaned up the lip, pushed the pocket back, and became the wave Ive been searching for! WOW just WOW!

Oh yea, I demoed a Phase 5 Aku 53 as well and I love it! I'm 5'11" 160 and my Soul Craft 58 is too big for me. I'm gonna sell it and probably cop one of these asap! It was a night and day difference for me!

1235
front arrow under seat
750 surf side full and stock surf full
750 starboard about 1/3 to 1/2 full
11.2 mph
water was choppy when I took this pic... I will get more later

Thanks for sharing your setup. I just installed the Wicked Wave and am looking forward to trying it out soon.

Oh, it's definitely listed to the surf side. It's necessary even with the WWS. I still wind up slamming to the surf side, it just makes the wave better. Lemme see if I can find a pic... oh for reference I'm 5'11" so thats what waist high?

Wave looks great man! I have a 15' Mondo & I'm amazed what these 20'ers can put out nowadays haha

This is on a really windy day but for the price of an A20 or Mondo you really can't beat these small boats waves!

Pics of the Mondo?

I have been disappointed in the non-surfgate boats. I had a Centurion before my Axis. I couldn't surf then but the surf wake didnt look as nice as the Centurion. Even the pre-2014 Axis boats don't surf as good as the ones with surfgate (this is using ghetto gate and not listed). I can't wait to try a good listed boat. Hopefully I get to try a 2014 Centurion 233 this summer. There is a guy we know that owns one. I can surf but it doesn't interest me like wakeboarding...but it is still fun.

I have a few videos on my phone I will have to upload of this A20. The boats I have been on with surfgate and poor gate, it has always seemed better to still list the boat some.
