2014 T22 cluster issue
seems to clear up when I restart but comes back intermittently..
Anyone ever seen this? I am reluctant to take it to the dealer bc a friend had her boat vandalized while it waited to be serviced there...and mine has major wetsounds and stuff up for grabs while its parked out in the lot.

Its still under warranty...till next month

Call the dealer and have them log in the issue now while it's under warranty. Then when you have some time pull all your valuables out and take it in.

Try going to the menu and resetting it to defaults. That might work.

That is a very easy unit to change. I would think they could test it if you take your boat in. Then your dealer should be able to order it and then change it in about 10 minutes. No reason to leave your boat there.

Know your fears. My boat was vandalized at the dealer too! I will never leave overnight again!

I think my old guage did that before I switched to the Rev C. It also fixed my speed issues. You should check to see what Rev you have on that guage. I think it is just one locknut and a wiring harness to pop the guage out. You won't even need pull the wiring harness off unless you want to.

I would get it logged by the dealer just to be safe. If it needs to be replaced at least they can do it under warranty. I would contact the dealer and see how they want to handle it. Your dealer should be able to tell you if they can note it in your file now of if you will have to bring it in. I would also never leave anything you cannot afford to lose in your boat. Bad stuff happens all the time. Over the past 10 years I cannot think of one dealer that has not been hit by some type of theft. Little to big bad people are everywhere. And those people suck. :)

Definitely look and see which Rev series you have. It's on the sticker on the back of the gauge. If it is a rev B then your dealer can and should get you the rev C from Malibu. It's is very easy to change and will cure a number of problems they are having with that gauge. I changed mine out last summer and it corrected the surging issue I was having.
