ski pylon...where to attach a rope for tubing?

I have no issue with pulling kids on a tube but wakeboarding is our main priority. I pulled a couple of friends' kids last year that don't have the luxury to get out on the lake very often. Plus I pull the tube when I am shooting film on the gopro. I really need to get a bigger tube...mine is barely big enough to fit me.

What kind of surf boards do "old guys" use?

I have: Chaos Bamboo Sixer, Shred Stixx Thresher; Victoria PCX; Inland Squirt; Ronix Koal (boat board). Still have my Slingshot Reflex with Ronix One bindings. Still can do W2W 360 but that's about all I'll do nowadays. Can't risk a blown knee with my career.

I saw you harrassing the lakewake (or whatever his name is on wakeworld) about advertising in a thread. What was that all about? I couldn't follow it.

Which is you favorite surf/skim board? We don't surf much so I am happy with my big boy slingshot skim bender. I also have an IS Mucus that feels like a speed demon. It doesn't come out much though cause it doesn't fit in the racks.

Pull from the tower or the pylon, not going to wreck either of them with a simple doughnut tube.

We put a tower on our old I/O (1993) and pulled 3 tubes from the tower for 9 years before finally upgrading to the '13 axis a20. There were no issues.

I also slalom behind the a20 on the pylon. I have slalom skied from the tower before and I typically hook beginners up to the tower because it helps them get out of the water. I did this on the I/O and on the current a20, no problems.

Also, we hooked everything up to the simple tow hook on the back of an I/O for 19 years and that never gave out.
I slalom skied off of this type of hook on the back of our I/O all year for 15 of those 19 years.
