So the dealer was told by Malibu/Axis today, in writing, they are no longer taking production pics for customers... sounded like it was getting out of control...
Just have to wait for delivery next week.... bummed.

It's been that way for a couple years now. I was told the same way when I ordered mine last year. I was bummed too.

keep hearing the same excuses every year. "Malibu isn't going to do pic anymore, there going to do the photo album or nothing at all" bla bla bla. My dealer even gave me some song and dance that they couldn't do anything. Last year I called the factory a couple days before my spray date and asked for pics. They gave me a little bit of the same dance, asked if I ordered the album I said no. They said their really not suppose to do it anymore. Couple days later my email was full of pics. I don't have any connections with the factory or my dealer, I just called and asked and said I wanted pics like those that are posted on Malibu crew every day. I've already seen plenty of build pics for this year. make the call yourself, your spending $65K+ they want to make you happy.

I'll add one thing, they wont send you pics of the completed boat usually, they want your dealer to be able to give you that "WOW" moment.

Well, delivery was supposed to be today but the weather in central Texas will preclude this from happening. Glad it's raining though. Dealer was going to send some pics after they unwrap it... hopefully today!
