Hey folks -- many of you know I moved to an LSV last summer from my A22. Well, had a little teenie bopper on a JetSki hit my LSV while anchored and pretty much destroyed it... long story short "The Law" didn't do any thing and the Fiberglass repair is shotty at best (after returning to the repair shop 3 times to try and get it right). Recommend everyone check their insurance policies closely; while my insurance paid for the repairs, they gave me the check... which means they are not involved any longer... it was between me and the repair shop... not a good deal. So... the LSV was crap and I was bent (way upside down).... Rant over...

I have a spray date of 9 March on our new T23... I will keep everyone up to date on the progress and how this goes...

Very excited to be back to Axis; while the LSV is a very nice boat (had lots and lots of warranty issues, which Malibu took care of 100%, but was highly annoying), way too many electronics and bells and whistles for someone simple like my wife and I.

AJ -- SURPRISE, team Axis is back together...lol... wish i didn't cut my header on my garage now... lol

Welcome back to the simple life! Sorry to hear about your LSV, but I know you will be happy with the T23.

It's sad to hear about your LSV espeically with the way your insurance handled that.. Was anyone hurt in the jetski accident? and how the hell do you not see an anchored boat?

The T23 is a sick boat. We have a MoonBeam and Vapor blue one in the shop right now and the colors are sick. The 22 to 23 sizing might seem weird but when you look at the two boats side by size you definitely see the extra room. Plenty of storage, nice tall sidewalls to really load it with ballast and if it surf better than the T22 its going to be a monster wake.

Our stereo guy is already planning to sell his 2015 T22 to grab this T23 and I cant wait.

No one was hurt (fortunately). But I can't promise there won't be a visit to the ER if I see her this summer.

That's another thing i learned folks; the game warden/sherrif (here at least) will not show up unless there's injuries involved. I mean, they told us to put our boat on the trailer and they would see us the next day.

So next time... someone is hurt so bad they have to use a spatula to scrape them out of the boat AND i have a sledgehammer handy to finish the job. LOL

Here's a rendering of the T23. Both the Axis website and the dealer sheet does not show the accent pattern #2 for the vinyl.. Why is Axis's site so busted? LOL.

They started the vinyl last week and spray date remains 9 March.

So hey, I also worked a deal for a swim ladder (for Aunt Barb and the in-laws... they get wicked faded on the lake w/ us and need a ladder). I will keep everyone informed how this works out with the floating wedge access. Had a ladder on the LSV and it was super handy for the parents and in-laws. i think I may be the first one on an Axis... MTF.

I'll definitely let you know how it goes. I am not certain which option below is going to be executed:

1. The ladder is installed during the build, or
2. The swim platform is shipped w/o the sea deck affixed and the dealer puts it on upon delivery.

Key is you do not want to install it post delivery unless your platform comes w/o the sea deck... very labor intensive to remove the sea deck and 99% of the time the sea deck is severly damaged during the process, so you have to replace it... all-in-all that could end up costing near $600 alone (Plus, OEM swim ladder is about another $250).

I'll keep you informed, but with a 30 March build you may want to call your dealer and start discussing the two options above... they start getting angry with modifications to the build sheet about 3 weeks out. I got in trouble for wanting to add SS cup holders last week... LOL!
