Has anyone seen a ballast tank, outside of the boat. Are there any thread plugs that are un-used, especially on the center tank? I've been trying to chase down a water leak and have literally re-done every ballast fitting on my boat. I've also check every possible area that can let water it: swim platform, underwater lights, tracking fin, drain plugs, raw water cooling lines, exhaust, shaft seal, bow hook, etc.

The water is definitely leaking in-between the stringers and I'm confident its related to ballast. I've put dye in all the tanks, EXCEPT the center, and had clear water in the bilge. All the fill pumps don't leak either. I am literally lost on what it could be. My only idea now is maybe the ballast tanks have plugs in them that are leaking that aren't visible.

That would be awesome. As for the center tank, it look like the fuel tank has to slide out first haha. That'll be a fun little project.

The only extra the rear tanks have are the floats that Malibu uses for their automatic systems

I haven't taken it out, I noticed one of my fittings in the tank was cracked from over tightening about 2 months after I bought my boat, so I called up Malibu and they sent me a replacement, I put a hose clamp around the cracked tank fitting and then screwed the hose fitting back in with some silicone and so far it hasn't leaked yet, I'm saving it for a rainy day lol

Hey kx250frider617 does your boat have a heater? Maybe your heater core has a leak up under the dash if you have one.

Oh wow those pictures were perfect. I don't see any other plugs except for what looks like a float gauge.

I have a heater, but I have a salt series. No coolant is leaking anywhere.

My 2013 A20 was leaking at the stern from the cup holders (sealed) and the Black bumper that goes around the boat. The rooster tail put up by the Surf gate was also leaking at the rear cleats. We were taking on about 20-30 gallons of water in a 2 hour period until the boat went back to the factory and they chased down all the problem mentioned above. Try removing the carpet covering the stern behind the ballast and up the back and run the boat normally with the engine cover open and watch to see if anything trickles down into the stringer area. That was one of my problems.
Good luck
