Looking at a used 2014 T22 with 20 hours. What drives me crazy is, Axis warranties are not transferable, only the indmar warranty is. Seeing how the boat is fairly new, I imagine some sort of problems coming up that would typically be covered under warranty. Would you feel comfortable?

It depends. Have you priced a new 2014 T22 at your local dealer yet? If not, you should. See if you can live with the price difference from buying new versus used.

New really is out of my price range, especially my local dealer only has 2015's in stock. They quoted me a price of $75k. And the 2014 im looking at is $50k.

hmmm ... save 10K on a 2014, 25K on a 2015 ... engine is under warranty. Hull would only have 1 year left. Go through the forum, look at the common issues people have found (i.e.: speedo / tach), then ask the owner to verify what work they've done to correct the known issues. A great dealer is important, I wouldn't give the local dude the time of day. The one for 50K vs 60K, how do they differ? It's easy to add 10K of options. Also, think 75K is probably 5K too high, especially if he's got a shitty reputation ... go elsewhere if you want a new one, you might be surprised to find a 2015 5-10K cheaper depending on the options.

The used one is a consignment and the options are pretty bare. Sound pack 1, Bimini, underwater lights, metallic paint. The new one has sound pack 2, heater, deck trac.

The used one isn't local either about 1200 miles away lol so i might fly in to check it out. The new one is about 500 miles away. But the bottom line is, 50k to 55k is really the top of my budget.

Go with what is in your budget. Take a search around here and the malibu crew to see what the common issues are and what to pay attention to when looking at the boat. Do you know which engine is in the used one?

First I don't think you will be happy with the 330 motor. Depends on your altitude as well. May be okay. Second, that dealer is very high on their prices. My neighbor bought his T22 with a few nice options for 57K new this summer. He ordered it also the way he wanted.
Where are you located? I know of some good deals to be had.

The 330 hp engine will be fine if it is prop'd right. If you can get one with the 350 hp in it, then do so. Either way it will still surf great and put out a great wake.
