Looking for any ideas for tower lights on an A22. Having a hard time finding clamps that will fit tower and bars short enough to fit between speakers. Thinking of using driving lights with custom mounts??Let me know what you have done. Thanks

I don't think the Monsters will work. You need a 2 7/8" clamp.

I am curious as well about tower lights options. I do not have nor want tower speakers, but i would like to tap some threads into the 4 tower speaker holes and thread in 4 small tower lights that can swivel. Any ideas on this?

Nasty - Monster do a larger clamp (up to 3"), but I think you'd need to call them for it. I know it's available for Racks so I'd assume they have made some for Lights and other accessories too. Failing that, how about this one and simply screw a light to it: http://www.diywake.com/shop/shopexd.asp?id=550

The other option, which may actually look a litle nicer would be to ditch the mounts all together and simply bolt the lamp to the tower. We did a few installs in the UK like that and it turned out well :D

I have just purchased one of these ( http://www.rigidindustries.com/product-p/eseries10.htm )for my A22 to mount in between the speakers, i ordered the 10" so it would fit, but without speakers, any size would work. It may be a little larger than you are thinking but they work awsome and are all LED, plus, they look cool too. It can also be turned around to face forward or backward. The only problem is finding clamps that fit, there are a few companies around that make an appropriate clamp that could be fastened to the arms that come with the light but i just went to a local machine shop and am having them machine me some custom aluminum clamp mounts to hold it. A little more expensive but should look awsome

I like your idea divebomber1. Please post some pics when you are complete. I also thought about drilling and tapping the tower for mounting, anyone try this with success? It is hard to find many manufacturers with clamps large enough to accomodate the 2 7/8, any word if Axis may introduce something?

I've been looking for nice lights for a long time, those light bars are sweet, but i'm going to go with led tower lights from bakesonline.com , 2-3 times brighter than 55w halogen, 2-3 less wattage and amp draw. I talked to the guy over there and they are fabbing some alluminum ring mounts with the lights to go on all sizes of towers, just waiting for them to come out. The singles will be nice to mount between the tower speakers and when you still have the bimini top on, you can mount the front lights on the upright tower bar under the bimini, won't have to roll it up at night, just some thoughts.
