Anyone near Montgomery Alabama to check out a boat for me?

Checking out this boat on craigslist http://montgomery.craigslist.org/boa/4626020227.html

Seems like a good deal, but was wondering if anyone is near montgomery that could possibly check it out this weekend?

Ask the guy who does the service on the boat. maybe you can contact the local dealer and get a service record from them on it. Give you some piece of mind before you make a long drive.

That boat was purchased and I assume maintained by H2O watersports in Dothan AL. You can call them.

That seems like an awesome deal. I just bought a 2013 w 111hrs, plain trailer, sound pack 2, heater. For 50k, thought I did pretty good. This seems like a great deal.

I will be in that area in two weeks if you still need someone to run by and look it over.
I would definitely call H2O watersports in Dothan and ask for Frankie (owner). He probably is the one who sold the boat. I am sure he could get you all the info you need along with service records.

The boat was purchased from Singleton marine, lake martin. The owner is supposed to get me results of a full inspection including compression testing, and copy of the maintenance records. If all is well I'll head up on the 12th to look out. But was hoping someone would be in the area just to scope it out for me.

I knew I had seen that boat on their lot when I went to purchase mine. It looks better in person with that red flake.

I live on Lake Jordan - 30-minutes from there - I got a buddy who lives on Martin - I could check it out for you - Singleton/Skiers does my maintenance also on my 2014 - I have over 150 hrs on mine - Thats a drive from Houston (12 Hrs) -

Hey guys i got some more pictures. There appears to be a handful of scratches and blemishes.

Scratches on the swim platform, transom, V decal on starboard side, bone decal port side...

How important should this be? The lowest he will take is $47k, still seems like a great deal no?

What do you guys think?
