I have an engine fault code that is limiting my rpm and speed. The code is ECM: SPN 175 FMI 15

There is no water in bilge. Oil level is fine. All other readings from gauges voltage, engine temp etc seem fine. I can't go over 2500 rpm and cruise control is definitely off obviously. Can someone chime in on what the issue may be per this fault code?

Thanks in advance!

Which engine do you have?

Just from a quick google search, it looks like your engine oil temp is too high. Try googling it and see what you come up with.

I have the 450 monsoon as well, I sucked up a tiny bit of weed through the raw water intake and it clogged the inline filter. It stopped the water flow through the engine and I had the exact same problem. Follow the raw water intake through the transmission it exits on the left side directly into what looks like a long metal canister which is accessed via the left side of the engine compartment. Just disconnect the canister and look for debris. Normal engine temp for the 450 should be 162 degrees

Did you also have a limit on power output?

Basically the rpm's were limited to 2500 or less and the engine code for overheating was flashing. I hooked up a tsunami pump to one of the coolant hoses on the engine and coincidentally it was the same size. You'll know right away if you have blockage.
