Installed a heatercraft in my A22 and here's some of the pics if it will help anyone else out. Was more time consuming as I didn't know where to start and made it up as I went along.

First thing to do is pull out the cover under the dash and move the lines if needed. I then placed the heater where I thought it would work and put the cover back in place and looked through the cup holder to see if all was well.



Next pull up the cover over the gas tank and use some adel clamps to keep the hoses up, not sure if this is needed. Found some extra ones up under the dash. The hoses will slip up under the hull and floor pretty easy.



Don't have a pic of the Y-tube but I placed it on the port side of transmission in the tube leading from the tranny to the water pump. Hope that's the right place. Used garden hose fittings as they were cheap and they'll be easy to blow out.



Next is to try and figure out where to put the tubes. I opted for under the dead space behind the chilax seat. Was going to put them in the walk way but wanted to save that space for future speakers since I'm not a fan of tower speakers. Put the smaller vents up under the dash.







Tubes reach the back seat no problem, they don't quite make it to the front. Might want to rethink putting one in the walk way.

man that looks killer, that is the same heater system that axis puts in them at the factory except they only use 2 vents instead of 4. I like how you put them under the seat so they will reach the far back. good looking install

Was on the lake yesterday and the water was 62 deg and the engine temp (water) was only about 132 deg. After about a 1/2 hour the temp went up to 160 which is about normal for that boat. Heater was kicking and almost to hot on the low setting with air temp at 69 deg. Was able to cruise without a shirt on and enjoy the day. Took the front middle cushion and blocked off the walk through area. Need to check forum for stuck thermostats.

Was quoted a price of $1,000 to $1200 for this install. Please tell me that you did it for much less and that it wasnt much of a problem.... other than time? Really want to add this to my 2012.

Heck yeah, much less! Group buy over a malibucrew.com was around 450.00 for the heater. Couple of parts from Home Depot and I was home free. Good Luck!

Hey guys just a heads up for who's looking to do this... Don't order heatercraft "marine"!!! I installed a heatercraft in my old centurion but found in more that 1/2 off in jC Whitney for jeeps. Same exact unit just 100's cheaper. If I recall I did a 2 port for $130.

Getting about that time to start thinking about this.
Any more insight or suggestions...?

I want to keep this going as well....thinking about knocking this out in time for next year.
