Also, you dont need a super hard cut into the wake. Just steady with that progresive edge. I think you're overthinking it. I do this a lot. Youll be good to go after that first attempt.
I typically load the line pretty hard when I do my normal wake to wake jumps. The only differnce I see from the video on load that I don't currently do is have a more straight up stance when loading the line. I normally have a good seated position when loading the line. The gf complains about how much I pull the boat on my loads. I am 230 lbs with a lot of upper body strength. I feel like I can do the one wake backroll attempt easier than I can do the air backroll. I am going to try a couple of load and releases though to see if I get some air off of it before I try anything though.
