Your are correct. Also the interior wet sounds looked different on the SP 3.

What was with the snaps? Just to conceal the bow area to keep it under wraps?

Did you see the thread about the one that sank? I'll bet the bow cover is insurance when load testing or Randle wants to weight it for a ride.

I thought a snap cover was offered as an option for the 2014s or 13s.

Ya I saw that thread. I even saw it sink.
I think I remember seeing an Axis with the snap on cover. I think I would like that type of cover.

I had a snap cover on my old boat and ended up regretting it. Didn't like having the snaps sticking up everywhere. Also once the cover stretched a bit after some use, it was always flapping around too much, couldn't tow with it at all. I much prefer the over the rub rail cover that I can ratchet down nice and tight.

Still doesn't look like there's enough room to fit 808s in the speaker locations! That is what i really wanted to go with on my '14. My bow corner cushions have already melted too.

I have a friend with an A20 that called Axis and got the corner cushion vinyl skins for free. He was also outside warranty period.
