I did a search and didn't find anything. We are thinking of purchasing a vaca home... most of the homes in my price range have a standard size garage door (I currently store my boat with the tower up in a carport). Will the A22 fit through a standard garage door?

I measured mine a few weeks ago just to see, with the tower folded down the windshield is just under 7 foot, it should fit but it's the width that is real tight, you will have 3-4" per side with a standard garage door.

Thanks Walter. I meant standard height door - most of the places have double car width.

I hope you don't mind me hijacking your thread, but what's the minimum depth required if storing an A22 straight in a garage? And what garage dimensions can store an A22 on a diagonal?

If you remove the swim step and collapse the trailer tongue, I would guess around 23' with the wedge.

yes!!! are you going to find a place with a 2nd "masters bedroom" or mother in law quarters for us???

Yes, the A22 will fit in a standard 7' garage...by about an inch!

I have a 2 car garage that is exactly 23 ft deep. With the platform off and the wedge down, I have about 3" to spare. It will not fit in a garage smaller than that! I had to cut off the metal bar that sticks down when the garage is open and shorten the release string to avoid it catching on the tower.

We got the 2012 Axis brochures in this weekend and they added those wierd measurements that everyone always asks for.

A22:
Total Length: 22'9" with platform removed, wedge down, and trailer tongue folded
Total Length: 24'3" with platform installed and trailer tongue folded
Total Height on Trailer: 6'10" (tower folded down)
Total Width on Trailer: 102" at guide poles
