I just bought a 2010 A22... The owner before me put a cooler in the rear locker. However, I plan on adding bags in those areas. I would prefer to have a cooler that is not just sitting out in the floor/traffic area... What are options for cooler storage? I saw some posts discussing cooler trays in the corners (with photos) and some coolers from the dealers. What do the coolers from the dealers look like? Pics? where are they designed to store? The corner trays look like they would be a bit akward getting in & out of... Also has anyone tried to hinge a side seat to make access easier? My crew is in & out of the drink cooler all day! Any advice appreciated!

Also, I will need to add some board racks... But have not found a place on-line to shop for Axis add-on equiopment (bimini, racks, mirrors, coolers, etc.) ?????

Thanks.

Congrats on the new boat!

The Axis soft coolers fit well under the seats. They are black with an Axis logo on the top. This is what we use.

We use the axis soft cooler just like ed. 90% of the time we ride for a couple sets and then leave so its no big deal. But if ur out all day and need qiuck access to it often, then i could see how u need something else. I have an idea i plan on working on this summer. Get an ice chest that fits perfectly in the bow walk through when the chillax seats are up. Build a base on it, out of wood but preferbaly a plastic sheet, that you can attach to the bottom of ur chest so that it will rest on the fiberglass edges of the front pnp access hole without falling in and resting on ur pnp bag. Get sheeting that is thick enough to hold a lot of weight. This way u will have a chest that is fully accessibke from bow or cab, out of the way, and is strong enough to be used to step on when moving from bow to cab or visa versa. Only negative is if u want the chillax seats down. Just make the plastic sheet smooth and flat enough so that it can be placed anywhere else...floor, sunpad, etc

John, Sounds like a good plan... I'll start tinkering with that idea as well. Maybe we can come up with it before spring. Do you know where I can order or view the Axis soft side cooler on-line?
