I couldn't figure out how to use the rings either. They are to big to fit in the threads and to big for anything.

They go around the bag's threads. You will see where they fit if you look at the insert fitting long enough. It is simple.

Yes they work. There is a lip around the outside of the fitting. Put it just under that with fitting in place and tighten down.

So SL just sends a package of rings without any instructions? I mean it seems simple enough but people are obviously having issues. I would expect a little more from a company that sent out defective products. Hope everyone is worry free soon!

It is simple but kinda a rigged up technology to try and fix and brand new "better than everyone else" ballast bag.

Yeah.... I got talked into these bags..... Should have just gone with the good old standard and proven Fly High instead.
