Ok before people Chime in and say to reinforce the plastic dividers they are not the problem, the little grooved plastic peice that they fit into is pulling screws out of the plastic flooring. I added 3 more screws to Each side and it happened again. I am running the 1100s but don't really over fill them. Anyone know how deep I could screw before I get into something important?

I don't see why you can't use a 3/4" long screws to screw the c-channel down. I don't think you will be hitting anything under the floor. The ballast tanks are located under there but you should have the clearance to be able to avoid them as long as you don't use a screw over 1".

i think the dividers do need to be reinforced. with that much weight (even if not full all the way) the walls are flexing and putting more stress on the c channel at the bottom causing the screws to pull out. it takes about 20 minutes to reinforce the divider walls.

Okay I will give that a try. No way I am going to screw all the way through the hull right? The tanks aren't directly under the screws if I remember right. I will try to reinforce and see if that helps. Makes sense what you are saying about the pressure being put on the bottom. Any idea where I can get replacements for the channels or if I could maybe even find aluminum ones???

You should be able to find some aluminum ones at home depot. If you are that worried about it, get the same length screw as the manufacturer put in except just a little more girth on it. Trust me, she will love it.

Those channels are on the stringers which should be the thickest fiberglass and strongest part of the boat, look where the motor mounts are bolted, should be in the same area I think

I got a small piece of angle aluminum and screwed it right against the c channel on the engine side. I used the same length screws that were already used, just with a little more girth... And she did love it! Lol Problem solved!
