I don't normally load the front PNP, sometimes about half full. We're still experimenting with the weight. What I have learned is that if were in less than 8' of water the wave is crappy. At 6' it washes out and is about 1/2 as big.
Best speed is 10.3 for me and almost 11 for my wife.
I have also noticed the water depth thing. I was thinking it was my imagination for a while, or my fear of dinging the prop. I have been running full front (950 pounds) and center (factory). Wedge down. Full factory rears and still not sure where we like the rear PnP tanks. I have 750s in the back. I seem to think it was best around 1/2 bag, and maybe a little lighter on one side to give a slight tilt along with the surfgate. Running 10.8 mph. I had a few extra friends on the boat a week ago and the boat had trouble with the weight! Hard to get it to speed. Have Acme 13.5 X 16 4-blade, which is fine for wake boarding but I wish for more low speed torque when surfing.
