I never understood why the platform has the side walls. No other boat I've seen has that and I think it just gets in the way. Plus it's a big target for getting scratched while strapping on a board

Have got to have something for the Poor Mans Gate to attach too.

When u have the surf gate, you don't need the poor man's surf gate

Hello all!!!

I've had my A22 about a month now and love it. I have a friend who has a Malibu and yes when they are next to each other you can see why the Malibu costs more. I like the look of the Axis much better and don't need all the "Cadillac" bling.

1. Window latch screws…..I will try the lock tite.

2. Yes, the front plug and play ballast lifts the chillax seats…..we just don't fill it all the way, only fix i can think of.

3. Cruise control……Our dealer gave us great instructions on using it. I personally like that you have to disengage the prop to deactivate it. It did take us some time to figure out the delay when turning it on, would always hold the switch to long and enter the RPM mood.

4. 3" tube size on tower……Kicker customer service says they don't make speaker mounts that big. Had to use 4" threaded studs with nuts to make the smaller mounts work.

5. Ropes coming out thru the base of the seats…..I like the idea of tinted plastic so the light still shines thru, will be doing that too.

Thanks for all the advice that everyone writes on here, love the site.

I guess I am the only one that hasn't had any issue with my cruise control. Mine seems to work flawlessly....except I still need to calibrate it.

I think i've only turned my cruise off twice and that was to check top speed with a new prop and to calibrate the speedo, other than that I leave it on for everything, it's way too convenient not to, on the window latch screws I just snugged mine up with a screwdriver and make sure to only turn them clockwise and they haven't come loose again.

No issues with my cruise either. I would like to see depth finder be standard and some kind of gauge on the hard ballast tanks.

Totally! I hate that lip but just installed my poor gate so glad it's there at the moment!
