Cruise control is quite glitchy, you have to damn near come to a complete stop after you turn it off or else it acts like it is still on. I want to be able to just hit the switch to turn cruise off and continue going, not have to stop and then start again.

I thought something was wrong when I tried turning it off also. But if you think, you really only use it when towing a rider, so its probably a safety feature in case the throttle is completely open with cruise on and the switch is accidentally hit, turning cruise off so the boat won't just take off.

I find the swim platform with surf gate is a little small. Putting a wakeboard on, the board hits the sides/walls of the platform thus leaves marks on the platform. Just find this a little annoying. I think they should make the platforms more like Malibu's

I agree. I run small acrylic fins on my Lyman and they always break from the edge of the small platform. I am in the process of trimming down the original black fins to the size of the small ones.

Ya, I use slider fins on my Byerly ar1 and haven't had problems with that yet

I never understood why the platform has the side walls. No other boat I've seen has that and I think it just gets in the way. Plus it's a big target for getting scratched while strapping on a board

It's simple...the Axis is designed with a lot of flat surfaces and angles, the platform just compliments the overall lines. While functionally I can see that the surfgate platform is narrow for wakeboards but a flat platform would look like crap. axis could reduce the amount of sidewall on on the platform in the future though, that would be a good compromise

They should make the platforms more like the Malibu ones where the wall falls right after the surf gate tab

Tower folding on the v2 tower. Side supports should be on inside of tower so they can be folded down one at a time. Currently you have to loosen both of the supports lift the tower and one person grabs one and person lifting tower has to grab the other one.

Why can't the tower be self supporting when folded? There needs to be a stop built into it so it sits just off of the vinyl. I understand the tower itself may be too heavy and I would be OK with still using a couple 5 gal buckets and life vests but the side supports are light enough where I think they should come down half way and stop on their own.

I built a bracket that screws into the top of the ski pilon. It supports the tower so it doesn't fold down on to the seats. (forgot about that stupid design since I fixed it myself).

Have got to have something for the Poor Mans Gate to attach too.

I like it!

I don't have the ski pylon and don't need one but I'm going to look and see if I have the bracket under my cup holder. maybe I can make a hole in bottom of cup holder and make something I can drop in when needed.
