Does anyone have problems with there trailer jack? Mine is a Fulton, I use it mostly in salt water and after we launch the boat whoever parks the truck puts the jack down so the water runs out then once we get home we rinse and wash every thing on the boat and trailer. My jack just keeps getting stuck and I have sprayed WD40 on the shaft and ran it up and down, then repeated that and just nothing seems to keep it from seizing up. Any one else have this problem?

WD-40 is a cleaner, NOT a lubricant. You need to use Marine Grease on it.

It is a solvent with some lubricating properties. Definitely not a lubricant though.

WD-40 means water displacement 40th formula ....... I knew that without googling it but it's pretty easy to google it to confirm it

Wikipedia calls it a lubricant http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WD-40
