Good to hear. They should really use some better rca's. Way to common of an issue. Mine came brand new with bad ones. Glad to hear you got it fixed.

I just started having the same issue yesterday evening. It only happens when the boat is running and only on 1 of the tower speakers. I quickly looked for loose connections last night, but it was dark my the time we got home. When i unplugged the RCA cables to the tower amp, the noise goes away.
Did you end up pulling new RCA cables or only replacing the connectors?

I replaced the connectors. Mine was exactly how yours is, only one side of the tower speakers and only in the "run" or "ignition" position. This might sound kind of dumb, but before you replace the connectors, go to the amp where the tower speakers are connected and switch the RCA connectors from one of the channels to the other. IE, switch the red and white from channel 3 to channel 4 and vice versa, switch channel 4 red and white to channel 3. (or channel 1 and 2 depending on where they are connected) My tower speakers were connected to the amp closer to the rear of the boat.

I was able to switch the red input cable on the amp to amp 2 (channel 3 & 4) and left the black one in amp 1 (channel 1 & 2) and that got rid of the buzz, but now those speakers are only playing in Low Pass Filter Mode even though i have High Pass Filter Mode is selected.

Not sure how to proceed from there. I suppose the wiring can vary from boat to boat. Sorry, wish I had more advice.

Switched RCA cables and problem solved! Now I just need to replace the connectors on the permanent cable that's installed. Can you send me a link of the connectors you used?

I actually picked mine up at a local electronics store that does marine audio installation (not a Best Buy). I don't remember the brand, sorry. The dude at the store recommended them.
