I was on some other site and reading a discussion about a mastercraft and how much better an Axis is for wake boarding and surfing. However some mastercraft guy said be careful because axis has no foam in them and they will sink on you what ???? is he talking about ? I think he is full of something?
I thought all boats had to have some kind of flotation built in them? :?:

The axis doesn't float when swamped.

I would not go as far as to say this is totally incorrect. However I would be very surprised if there were anymore Axis boats that have sunk compared to any other brand.

If you take on enough water any of them will sink.

LEARN HOW TO DRIVE A BOAT BEFORE YOU BUY ONE.

I almost sank mine on thursday from overweighting the nose. I was trying to get that 4k plus weight everyone talks about is so sweet. I couldn't get it with my 330hp engine and 15x12 prop.

Go tour the factories, all boats (wake boats anyway) are built so similar you really can't buy a better built one than another, your just buying the style and wake that you like, they all use the same parts and methods of assembly, some use foam in one model and not in another, just depends on the boat, buy what appeals to you and not what someone on a forum tells you is better than the other, because in the end if you're happy nothing else matters!!

Don't believe everything you read on the internet without a valid source.

Also by law if the boat is 20ft or longer they are not required to use foam in them. But trust me if you take on enough water they will sink and sink fast.

Relax, Walter I was just curious about construction of the boats I am very happy with my T22. I don't believe there is that much difference in construction (with the exception of Sanger, they are still using wood stringers) anymore between the top manufactures to justify some of these prices they charge.
