I didn't get any pictures yesterday but I did get all the stainless steel cut to size. The only thing I lack is drilling two holes in the swim deck brackets and alligning the brace up with the FAE and tightening down the bolts. The stainless steel was a lot easier to cut this time around. I used a dremel to get a groove started at the place I wanted to cut, then used a sharp hacksaw blade to cut the rest. I should be able to finish it this evening.

The FAE definitely makes it difficult to drop the wedge. Now I have to use two hands to get the wedge to drop. It shouldn't be too big of a deal since I typically only drop the wedge once every outing and it stays down the entire time.

Finally finished up my install. I am not sure if this is how it goes, but it works. Mine probably took me 5 hours or so. I split it up between three days so some of time was spent getting tools out and running to home depot.

I will be testing it tomorrow evening if the weather is good. Accuweather claims thunderstorms for tomorrow. It just doesn't know when.

Rance- let us know how it goes today. I like the sound of the exhaust underway as well, but I'm betting while at 70' and 22mph the tower speakers have to sound much louder due to the decreased noise.

It will be noticeable in the boat and at 70'. I can't wait for some peace and quiet. Call me old fashion but if I wanted a loud boat, I would buy a jet boat. My tow boat only needs to purr.

Haha. Now your hearing is just going bad. My inboat speakers are the stock alpine. The tower is Rev 10s. I am still debating on the 410 in the middle. I kinda like the headroom and the two Rev 10s sound good to me.

It splits the wedge spit. It is a lot quieter though.

I am not sure how much you are atuned to hearing the exhaust, but it makes a huge difference. I definitely like the in cabin quietness.
